yǒu yīcì ， yuèliang yào māma gěi tā zuò yījiàn dǒupéng 。 māma huídá shuō ： “ wǒ zěnme néng gěi nǐ zuò yījiàn héshēn de dǒupéng ne ？ nǐ xiànzài shì xīnyuè ， ránhòu yòu shì mǎnyuè ； zài jiēzhe jì bùshì xīnyuè ， yòu bùshì mǎnyuè le 。 ”

zhè shuō shì ， shìwù zǒngzài bùduàn biànhuà ， bù kěnéng yīláoyǒngyì 。

Once, the moon asked her mother to make her a cloak. Mother answered, "How can I make you a cloak that fits you well? You are a new moon, and then a full moon; and then neither a new moon nor a full moon."
